KEY VOCABULARY: citing evidence - looking back into the text for evidence to support an idea, answer a question or make a claim central idea (main idea)- the overall message of the text that a writer intends to convey to the audience. objective summary - is one or more paragraphs that tells what something is about (central ideas) but does not include irrelevant details or your opinions.
